emerging from hypocrisy
It's been a while. I keep checking everyone's blog so that I can have some information on their oh-so-tragically-distant lives. And yet no one updates. (Ahem... you all know who I'm talking about!) But then I had a light-bulb moment: neither do I. So here I am again, with nothing much to say, but making a loyal attempt to let you all know what's happening in my neck of the woods. I expect everyone else to follow suit.Summary of last two months:
Christmas - glorious. Mom, Dad, me and Iri. Gingerbread house with a toppling snowman. Home.
New Year - Wonderful friends. Incredible Time. Beautiful wedding (and a beautiful bride!). Sad goodbyes. My heart torn in many directions: Argentina, Dallas, Cincinnati, Virginia. Comfort in hanging out with Jason, Ash and Natosha.
January - Daytona Beach. International birthplace of speed. Also birthplace of New Staff (we're born-again-again... hee hee). Sharing a bed with a stranger. Seminary classes (enrapturing!). Training in raising support (dreadful). Palm Trees and driving on the beach.
February - Refreshment (no, not a drink) with wonderful friends. Twelve hours (total) on Amtrak. Twelve inches of snow in DC. It was beautiful! Fun with Jess. Valentine's date with Ash. Sad goodbyes. Now my heart is torn in even more directions. Home (comfort!). Dad's birthday. Support phone calls (ugh).
So that's my life. It kind of reminds me of one of those free association games. Quick... I'll say a word and you say the first word that comes to your mind. Ready? Bobsled.

Hey Court, I was reading Mel's blog and thought...hmm if Court is harassing her to post I wonder if SHE has even posted...and lo and behold...YOU DID!!! How exciting. Sorry I never called back when you were going to visit Mel...I fell asleep at 8pm and woke up at 8am the next day (I had a massive headache). I hope y'all had a great time together!
and yet....she's a hypocrite once more...it's been almost a month young lady! I'm sure there have been some noteworthy happenings to be putting on this here blog...hop to it girl...we gotta keep tabs on you way over there in SOCAL. love you!
