just not my week...

Event #1: Lose my Bible. The one that my Mom gave me before leaving Argentina. I think I might have left it on the airplane. Sneaky airplane seat-back pockets that seem to consume all valuables!

Event #2: Lose my wallet. This has never, ever happened to me before. Unbeknownst to me, it slipped right out of my sweatshirt pocket in the middle of Diagonal 79. Wasn't there ten minutes later. Sneaky sweatshirt pocket.

Event #3: Lose the changepurse that had replaced the afore-mentioned wallet. In church. However, no pockets were involved. Just my own recently-acquired knack for losing things.

Event #4: Crash into a car on my bike. While moving. Ended up face down in the middle of Avenida 60, with a scraped up knee and a driver yelling out me. Thankfully my bike and I both came out of the ordeal in one piece.

Event #5: Fall off my bike. This time there were no moving vehicles to blame. Just a curb.

Hopefully next week will be a little less eventful.
