a new acquisition.
So, today I ran around somewhat madly to a few different stores for a very important purchase. It was cold, but I braved running in and out of stores to find it. Because, you see, for the days to come, it will become absolutely essential to my life.I present to you...
Now, those of you from my stomping grounds (a.k.a. sunny southern California) might have no idea what this unusual contraption is. Let me introduce you to the wonderful world of imperfect weather... it's an ice scraper. A small, plastic tool that has made itself invaluable to me in the past month. Because, you see, completely unbeknownst to me, if it gets cold enough (meaning actually below 50° F) for ice to actually freeze on your windshield... making it invariably inconvenient (not to mention quite dangerous) to drive. Enter our new friend the ice scraper. It works wonders... and you don't even have to get your hand wet!
And that, friends, was your lesson on life outside of California. And yes, contrary to popular belief, there is life outside of California. It's just a few degrees colder, that's all. :)
