if only in my dreams.
If I were you and not me, and if I could read my mind (not yours), I'd probably think that I was a little crazy. Especially if I (meaning you) could read my mind when I was sleeping.Case in point: last week I waited for a roller coaster with Susan Sarandon and Michael Douglas. They weren't together, of course. We all know that Michael and Catherine are inseparable. And their inseparability would certainly apply to roller coaster lines.
So there they were, in Santa Monica (because if we're going to dream, at least let's dream of a place with palm trees), waiting in a line that stretched blocks and blocks. Susan had apparently gotten there before Michael, because she was a few blocks ahead of him in the line. Neither of them were with an entourage. So low-key of them.
The climax of the somewhat boring but quite absurd dream was when Suzie decided that the tame roller coaster simply wasn't worth the interminable wait. So she got out of line. And as she passed Mike, he offered her some newly-acquired wisdom from his admirable fight against throat cancer. "Life is worth waiting for." That's good, Mike. Someone should put it up on people.com.
And now I can see why you think I'm crazy.
